The Hampton University Network Services team is responsible for the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of the campus-wide network infrastructure. The Network team also ensures that HU students, faculty, staff and its authorized guests, have internet access to both the wired and wireless university networks. The University offers varying method of securely connecting to the campus’ network.
There are multiple WIFI Network SSID’s that can connect you to campus Wireless. The process for connecting to each will vary depending upon the option you choose.

Please read the Virtual Private Network (VPN) Acceptable Use Policy before applying for and using VPN to securely connect to the Hampton University network.
This form is required to apply for a VPN account to allow secure communications to the Hampton University network. Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the time of request and renewal. By submitting this form, you are agreeing to adhere to the Center for Information Technology (CIT) Hampton University VPN acceptable use policy above. VPN access is renewed annually.
