Application Information for the School of Pharmacy
The School of Pharmacy at Hampton University offers three academic programs that students can apply to. One is for our graduate program and two are for our undergraduate programs. Our application information for the School of Pharmacy can be found through the buttons above.
- Doctor of Pharmacy Program: Students can engage in a rigorous four-year curriculum that includes both didactic and experiential courses. These courses prepare students for all aspects of Pharmacy. As the program goes through the Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Experiential Education. Students graduating from this program will be able to work as licensed practitioners in the state of Virginia and across the nation. The School accepts students from both the Pre-Professional program (see below) and transfer students
- Pre-Professional Program: Students can engage in two types of academic tracks. Our Two-Year Advance Pre-Pharmacy track and the Three-Year Pre-Pharmacy Traditional track. These two tracks allow students to gain necessary experience and to complete the prerequisites needed to apply for the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
- Bachelor of Science Program: Students can engage in two types of academic tracks. Our Pre-Pharmacy Track and the Industry Track. These two tracks cover general education topic areas. Students will be required to complete a summer research externship and a research capstone course.
